Standard Infrastructure Icons 2011.2

Create maps of city infrastructure including the basic facilities, services, and installations typical for an urban or sub-urban community or society. Standard Infrastructure Icons depict objects of city infrastructure such as transportation, communication, social, governmental, industrial and emergency response systems, as presented by the Federal Geographic Data Committee of the Homeland Security Working Group. Unlike the latter, which are only available in black-and-white, Standard Infrastructure Icons are drawn in color, and available in both 256 colors and True Color variants.

Standard Infrastructure Icons come in a variety of sizes and resolutions, including 256x256, 48x48, 32x32, 24x24, 20x20, and 16x16 pixel versions. The smallest sizes look clean and clear on the small-resolution screens such as PDA or laptops, while the largest size can be printed A4 or letter-size. Need bigger prints? The available vector images in Adobe Illustrator .ai format makes it possible to produce images with clear edges in any resolution.
